UNSPSC 55121611: Label making tapes

UNSPSC 55121611 Label making tapes is a Commodity code covering adhesive tapes and related supplies used for labeling applications across state and local operations. State and local procurement offices solicit label-making tapes primarily for administrative, inventory management, and facility identification purposes — including office labeling systems, equipment tagging, asset tracking, and signage preparation. The code captures both standalone label tapes and integrated label-making systems with tape components. Buyers range across state departments, county offices, cities, school districts, and transit authorities, typically procuring through routine supply contracts rather than specialized construction or operations vehicles. Purchasing volumes tend to be modest relative to other office-supply categories, and procurement cycles often align with annual supply agreements or cooperative purchasing arrangements rather than standalone RFPs.

The source contains no recent state and local contract opportunities specifically tagged to UNSPSC 55121611, limiting the ability to characterize current geographic concentration, issuing-body activity, or representative solicitations under this code.
