UNSPSC 53101605: Infants shirts or blouses

UNSPSC 53101605 Infants shirts or blouses is a Commodity code that shows little relevant recent activity. The three most recent state and local opportunities posted under this code are a grease trap removal service solicitation from Laredo Independent School District (RFP, due April 21, 2026), a heat relief supplies contract from the City of Phoenix (IFB, due December 12, 2025), and an infant wellness supplies RFQ from the City of Detroit (due February 18, 2026). None of these solicitations involve infant clothing — the code's nominal scope. The mismatch suggests these opportunities were tagged with an incorrect UNSPSC code or the tagging system conflated infant-related products across unrelated commodity families.

The City of Detroit's Safe Sleep and Infant Wellness Supplies RFQ comes closest to infant-category procurement but seeks cribs, car seats, sleep sacks, and educational materials rather than clothing. No recent state or local opportunities reflect actual demand for infants shirts or blouses under this code. Without current solicitation activity aligned to the code's stated scope, pursuit under this code is not supported by recent market signals.
