UNSPSC 52152106: Domestic mug tree

A stand made in the shape of a tree on which mugs can be hung

UNSPSC 52152106 Domestic mug tree (Commodity) does not align with the recent state and local procurement activity captured under this code. The Temple Independent School District RFP posted March 2, 2026 solicits walk-in coolers, freezers, serving lines, refrigeration units, food preparation equipment, storage shelving, ice machines, convection ovens, and mobile racks for a new high school cafeteria—none of which fall within the scope of domestic mug trees or tabletop beverage dispensing equipment. The mismatch between the code's nominal scope and what is actually being bought suggests the code carries little or no relevant recent activity in state and local procurement.

The single recent opportunity under this code classification represents a substantial school district capital project (Temple Independent School District in Bell County, Texas), structured as an RFP with a line-item bid format allowing multiple vendor awards and a response deadline of March 25, 2026. However, because the solicited equipment is commercial kitchen infrastructure rather than mug trees, this record does not serve as a representative example of the actual commodity. The classification appears to be a tagging error by the source system. Business development professionals evaluating this code should verify current commodity classifications with issuing bodies directly, as the UNSPSC categorization does not reflect the purchasing activity the code is meant to capture.
