UNSPSC 52152016: Domestic dinner set

UNSPSC 52152016 Domestic dinner set is a Commodity code that appears in state and local procurement records with minimal relevance to its nominal scope. The single recent opportunity tagged under this code—Sourcewell RFP #061626, posted May 12, 2026, with a June 16, 2026 response deadline—solicits law enforcement equipment for a multi-jurisdictional cooperative purchasing agreement, not tableware or domestic dinnerware. The mismatch between the code designation and the actual scope of work being procured suggests either a cataloging error in the opportunity record or that this Commodity code does not reflect the primary purchasing activity state and local agencies currently conduct in this category.

The Sourcewell cooperative vehicle issued the RFP on behalf of Participating Entities across multiple Washington counties (Franklin, Grant, Grays Harbor, Chelan, and Yakima) and numerous public entities throughout the United States and Canada. The solicitation aims to establish a framework contract available to governmental agencies, higher education institutions, K-12 school districts, nonprofit organizations, tribal governments, and other public entities. No recent state or local procurement activity directly aligned with the domestic dinner set product category was identified in the available records. Vendors interested in this code should verify the correct UNSPSC designation for their law enforcement equipment offerings and monitor Sourcewell's procurement portal for future opportunities more precisely aligned with dinnerware or food-service products.
