UNSPSC 50451826: Frozen organic guar gum beans

The variety of organic beans known as organic guar gum beans that have been frozen for preservation.

UNSPSC 50451826 Frozen organic guar gum beans is a Commodity code that does not align with recent state and local procurement activity captured in the source. The recent opportunities block contains eight solicitations from school districts, county school systems, and state education agencies—all explicitly requesting food service procurement for school nutrition programs, fresh produce, groceries, and frozen foods for child nutrition services. None of these opportunities reference guar gum, organic guar gum beans, frozen or otherwise, nor do they specify procurement of isolated food ingredients or additives at the commodity level. The code's nominal scope (frozen organic guar gum beans) does not match the actual buying patterns documented in these records.

The source provides no evidence of state and local procurement activity specifically under this UNSPSC code. The opportunities cited are properly tagged to broader food-service classifications covering produce, grocery items, prepared foods, and meal-service supplies. If guar gum procurement occurs within state and local jurisdictions, the available recent-opportunities dataset does not surface it, suggesting either minimal current activity under this code or systematic mismatch between how jurisdictions are classifying food-service purchasing and the Commodity-level categorization represented here.
