UNSPSC 50443808: Frozen rose de lautrec garlic

The variety of garlic known as rose de lautrec garlic that has been frozen for preservation.

UNSPSC 50443808 Frozen rose de lautrec garlic is a Commodity code, but the recent opportunities block shows no procurement activity for this specific product—the posted solicitations cover frozen corn, frozen potatoes, bulk grocery items, fresh produce, eggs, and institutional food service staples, with no mention of rose de lautrec garlic or specialty garlic products. The code appears dormant in state and local procurement right now, and the tagged opportunities are mismatched to its nominal scope.

State and local food service procurement, particularly institutional buyers such as school districts, correctional facilities, and health agencies, consistently solicit frozen vegetables, produce, dairy, proteins, and commodity staples through RFP, RFQ, and ITB vehicles, but frozen specialty garlic varieties do not surface in the recent record. If rose de lautrec garlic procurement exists at the state and local level, it is either infrequent, sourced through consolidated cooperative purchasing agreements not reflected in individual agency RFPs, or categorized under broader produce or specialty-ingredient codes elsewhere in the UNSPSC taxonomy.
