UNSPSC 50426426: Dried yellow pear-shaped tomatoes

The variety of tomatoes known as yellow pear-shaped tomatoes that have been dried for preservation.

UNSPSC 50426426 Dried yellow pear-shaped tomatoes, a Commodity code, shows no material recent state and local procurement activity aligned with its nominal scope. The available opportunities tagged under this code — a school district child nutrition services grocery contract, a correctional facility dried pinto and red beans procurement, Illinois state food orders, Georgia produce and kitchen products solicitations, and Texas TDCJ cafeteria food products — do not feature dried yellow pear-shaped tomatoes as a line item or category. State and local buyers posting food service solicitations spanning hundreds of line items across proteins, vegetables, grains, dairy, condiments, and specialty items do not reference this product type, suggesting either minimal demand or misclassification within the sourcing systems that generated these records.

The code appears to be a low-velocity category for state and local procurement. Absent recent solicitations explicitly requiring dried yellow pear-shaped tomatoes as a distinct product, vendors should not plan business development around this code. If your firm supplies this item as part of a broader food service catalog, position it within master grocery or produce procurement opportunities tied to larger commodity families such as canned or dried vegetables rather than as a standalone product line.
