UNSPSC 50335860: Dried organic purple majesty plums

The variety of organic plums known as organic purple majesty plums that have been dried for preservation.

UNSPSC 50335860 Dried organic purple majesty plums is a Commodity code that does not align with recent state and local procurement activity. The code nominally describes a specific dried-plum product, but the most-recent-state-local-contract-opportunities block shows no solicitations explicitly requesting dried organic purple majesty plums. A single historical opportunity (Bid IW236532, TDCJ, February 2026) solicited whole, pitted, dried prunes of U.S. Grade B quality in 60-70 count size, which is a commodity distinct from organic purple majesty plums and represents demand for prune products in correctional food service rather than the specific item this code describes.

The remaining recent opportunities across the block—spanning school districts in Georgia, Missouri, Virginia, Connecticut, California, and Texas, as well as state education and corrections departments—are broadly characterized as fresh produce, grocery items, food supply and distribution, dried fruits and nuts (generic), and cafeteria food products. None specifically targets dried organic purple majesty plums. The code shows little relevant recent activity and does not map cleanly to solicitations currently posted in state and local markets.
