UNSPSC 50316307: Organic victoria rhubarb

The variety of organic rhubarb known as organic victoria rhubarb

UNSPSC 50316307 Organic victoria rhubarb is a Commodity code. State and local governments do not appear to procure organic victoria rhubarb through recent public solicitations. The most recent opportunities tagged with this code show activity in school nutrition procurement, but they solicit fresh produce and food items far broader than organic rhubarb—including bananas, apples, vegetables, eggs, and beverages. The code's nominal scope does not match the work actually being bought in the recent record.

The mismatch between the code and the sourced opportunities suggests either a data tagging error or that organic rhubarb is not a material item in state and local school nutrition budgets. Produce procurement at the school district and county level centers on staple fruits (apples, bananas, citrus, berries), vegetables (broccoli, carrots, peppers, tomatoes, greens), and eggs in high-volume, standardized cases. No solicitation names rhubarb—organic or otherwise—as a line item or mentions specialty fruit sourcing. If your firm sells organic rhubarb to institutional buyers, monitor school nutrition RFPs in agricultural regions where rhubarb has seasonal demand, but current public activity offers no entry point under this code.
