UNSPSC 47101526: Sludge pelletizers

UNSPSC 47101526 Sludge pelletizers (Commodity) describes equipment used in water and wastewater treatment processes, though recent state and local solicitations show limited activity aligned directly with the code's nominal scope. The single recent opportunity on record — the City of Holly Hill, Florida's procurement — involves replacement of a drive shaft unit for a softener at its Water Treatment Plant rather than a pelletizing system per se, suggesting either misclassification of the opportunity or minimal purchasing activity under this Commodity code in the state and local market currently.

The City of Holly Hill posted a sole-source Notice of Intended Decision (SS202001) on April 13, 2026, for a WesTech DS43 Dual Shaft Drive replacement unit and turnkey installation services, with an adoption date of September 22, 2020, and total procurement value of $113,067.00. The scope included equipment removal, installation of the dual-motor drive system, and startup service. No other state or local opportunities under this code appear in the recent activity record, and geographic concentration cannot be characterized from a single Florida procurement. Business development professionals should treat this code as showing minimal recent state and local procurement momentum and verify code alignment with specific opportunities before pursuing activity.
