UNSPSC 46221513: Mine detector

Mine detectors are metal detectors using electromagnetic induction techniques based on either the continuous wave or the pulse induction principle.

UNSPSC 46221513 Mine detector is a Commodity code that shows minimal recent activity aligned with its nominal scope. The single recent opportunity tagged under this code — the Town of Berlin, Connecticut's June 2026 RFP for on-call mitigation, remediation, and abatement services — describes labor-intensive building project support (hourly labor rates, mileage charges, travel time, and truck fees) with no reference to mine detection equipment or explosive ordnance disposal. The work actually being solicited falls outside the code's intended product scope, suggesting either a tagging mismatch or that state and local procurement offices rarely source mine detectors through standard commodity codes.

No state or local government mine detector procurements appear in recent solicitation activity. The Berlin RFP is the sole opportunity in the source block, and it does not involve mine detection. If your firm supplies mine detection equipment to state and local buyers, this code shows limited current demand signal in the public opportunities market.
