UNSPSC 45121701: Film driers

UNSPSC 45121701 Film driers (Commodity) appears in state and local procurement as a minor component within broader law enforcement equipment and supplies procurements rather than as a discrete primary procurement category. The code's nominal scope — industrial film-drying equipment — does not align with the active state and local solicitation activity captured here, which focuses on law enforcement gear and equipment bundles where film driers would represent a subordinate or ancillary item at best. State and local governments do not appear to solicit film driers as a standalone product line under this code in current practice.

Sourcewell, a Minnesota local government unit and cooperative purchasing vehicle, issued RFP #061626 on May 12, 2026 (due June 16, 2026) for Law Enforcement Equipment on behalf of participating entities including Franklin County, Grant County, Grays Harbor County, Chelan County, and Yakima County in Washington, along with numerous other jurisdictions throughout the United States and Canada. The solicitation seeks to establish a framework contracting solution available to governmental agencies, higher education institutions, K-12 school districts, nonprofit organizations, tribal governments, and other public entities. The RFP structure suggests a cooperative purchasing vehicle with broad geographic reach, but the sourced opportunity does not identify film driers as a line item or distinct deliverable. The mismatch between the code's nominal scope and the actual work being solicited indicates minimal relevant recent activity under UNSPSC 45121701 in the state and local procurement space.
