UNSPSC 45101611: Silk screen squeegees

UNSPSC 45101611 Silk screen squeegees is a Commodity code that shows no relevant recent activity among state and local procurement opportunities. The two most recent opportunities tagged to this code—the City of Phoenix's RFQ for battle dress uniforms, embroidered hats, and gear bags (RFQ-26-0058, due April 16, 2026) and the City of Madison's RFP for city-wide printing and mailing services (due April 3, 2026)—involve screen printing and embroidery as manufacturing support services rather than squeegees as consumable supplies. Neither solicitation names squeegees as a line item, specifies squeegee procurement, or indicates active demand for this commodity at the state or local level.

The mismatch between code and actual scope suggests that this Commodity code either sees minimal state and local procurement activity or that recent opportunities have been misclassified at tagging. Business development professionals evaluating this code should verify whether squeegee procurement appears in other recent opportunities outside these examples or whether demand concentrates in narrow verticals—correctional facilities, manufacturing workshops, or public-sector screen-printing operations—that may not be represented in the current opportunity sample. The code warrants research into supplier registrations and cooperative purchasing rosters to assess whether it reflects genuine state and local market demand.
