UNSPSC 45101607: Silk screen arc lamps

UNSPSC 45101607 Silk screen arc lamps is a Commodity code that shows minimal relevant recent activity in state and local procurement. The two most recent opportunities tagged to this code—a Phoenix Fire Department RFQ for battle dress uniforms, fatigue clothing, name tags, gear bags, and embroidered headwear (RFQ-26-0058, due April 16, 2026) and a City of Madison RFP for city-wide printing and mailing services (RFP 1500802026, due April 3, 2026)—bear no connection to silk screen arc lamps or lighting equipment. The code's nominal scope does not match what state and local governments are actually procuring under it in the current market. This mismatch suggests the code either sees very little genuine activity, or issuing bodies are applying it incorrectly to unrelated work.

The absence of relevant opportunities makes it difficult to characterize the issuing-body mix, geographic spread, or genuine scope of work under this Commodity code. If state and local procurement activity for silk screen arc lamps or related lighting equipment exists, the available records do not surface it. A firm evaluating this code should either verify whether the code is correctly applied in its target jurisdiction's procurement system or seek alternative codes better aligned with actual lighting or equipment supply activity.
