UNSPSC 44111904: Letter boards or accessories

UNSPSC 44111904 Letter boards or accessories is a Commodity code under which state and local governments procure signage components and display systems for public facilities, transit infrastructure, and administrative buildings. The code covers a narrow product category — letter boards themselves and associated hardware, mounting systems, replacement letters, and maintenance accessories — rather than comprehensive signage design or installation services. Issuing bodies soliciting under this code span state departments of transportation and public works, municipal public information offices, transit authorities, and school districts seeking to maintain or upgrade wayfinding, informational, and directional signage across their facilities and right-of-way assets.

The source provided contains no recent state and local contract opportunities tagged to UNSPSC 44111904. Without posted RFP, RFQ, IFB, or ITB records, geographic concentration and representative solicitation detail cannot be characterized. Firms evaluating this code should monitor state and municipal procurement portals and cooperative purchasing vehicles that support signage and facilities maintenance categories, as letter-board procurements typically emerge as small, routine spot buys or as line items within larger facilities-management RFQs rather than standalone solicitations.
