UNSPSC 42296319: Falloposcopes

In this classification, this commodity indicates a product used as a narrow flexible fibreoptic endoscope used to view the inner lining of the fallopian tubes in a medical setting. US FDA regulates Falloposcopes under 21 CFR 876.1330 and under FDA product code PGD. Most nations, for tariff and trade purposes, schedule these products under HS 900630.

UNSPSC 42296319 Falloposcopes is a Commodity code, but the recent state and local opportunities tagged under it do not align with the code's nominal scope. The opportunities posted under this code over the past two months span fiber-optic splicing and maintenance services, medical supplies through a cooperative purchasing vehicle, handheld retinal screening devices with electronic health record integration, physical health products and related services, and law enforcement equipment — none of which constitutes falloposcope procurement or use. The mismatch suggests either a tagging error in the source data or a systematic misalignment between how this code is being applied and its intended product category.

Given the absence of actual falloposcope procurement activity in the recent opportunities block, this code shows no relevant current market activity for business development purposes. State and local governments do not appear to be actively soliciting falloposcopes under UNSPSC 42296319 at this time.
