UNSPSC 42161620 Hemodialysis unit blood pumps is a Commodity code with minimal alignment to recent state and local procurement activity. The two most recent opportunities tagged under this code — a Sourcewell cooperative procurement for law enforcement equipment (RFP #061626, due June 16, 2026) and a Klein Independent School District RFP for career technical education and advanced academics instructional resources (RFP #26-101, due June 5, 2026) — bear no material connection to hemodialysis equipment, blood pumps, or medical devices of any kind. Both solicitations concern equipment and supplies wholly outside the scope of dialysis unit procurement.

The code shows no recent state and local activity aligned with its stated commodity definition. Agencies purchasing hemodialysis equipment or blood pump components do not appear to be using this UNSPSC designation in current posted opportunities. Business development professionals should treat this code as inactive in the state and local contracting landscape and verify any future opportunities tagged under it against actual scope of work before investing pursuit effort.
