UNSPSC 41181728: Potato allergenic extracts

In this classification, this entry connotes an extract made of Potato used in an Immunological Allergenic test.

UNSPSC 41181728 Potato allergenic extracts is a Commodity code with no recent state and local procurement activity aligned to its nominal scope. The most recent opportunities flagged under this code—including offender drug testing services (Collin County), HIV and Syphilis test kits (City of Austin, Illinois Department of Public Health), forensic analysis of biological evidence (Texas Department of Criminal Justice), pool maintenance (Collier County), clinical laboratory services (University of Houston), and equipment rental (Illinois Department of Agriculture)—fall entirely outside allergenic extract procurement and relate instead to clinical diagnostics, forensic testing, and facilities maintenance. The code's assignment to these opportunities appears to reflect a categorization error rather than authentic demand for potato allergenic extracts in state and local government contracting.

No evidence in the recent solicitation record supports active state or local procurement of potato allergenic extracts. Vendors pursuing this code should verify current demand signals through direct outreach to state health departments, universities, and clinical facilities rather than relying on posted opportunities under this UNSPSC designation.
