UNSPSC 41151741: Sirolimus test system

In this classification, a Sirolimus test system is a device intended to measure Sirolimus for clinical toxicology purposes. US FDA regulates Sirolimus test system under 21 CFR 862.3840 and under FDA product code NRP

UNSPSC 41151741 Sirolimus test system is a Commodity code that does not map to the recent state and local contract opportunities in the source data. The opportunities posted under this code span laboratory analytical instrumentation, educational equipment, agricultural research tools, and specialized laboratory supplies — none of which involve sirolimus testing, immunosuppression assay systems, or pharmaceutical-related diagnostic equipment.

The source records show that Mississippi State University, the University of Southern Mississippi, the County of Santa Clara, the State of Oregon, Brazoria County, and other issuing bodies have tagged opportunities with this code despite the work being procured — motion-capture systems, mass spectrometers, infiltrometers, rheometers, water quality reagents, fire alarm components, and crime lab supplies — bearing no relationship to sirolimus immunology. This appears to be a systematic code-tagging error in the procurement systems that posted these opportunities. The code shows no relevant recent activity and should be marked for administrative correction in the source agencies' taxonomy mapping.
