UNSPSC 41121514: Pipette pumps

UNSPSC 41121514 Pipette pumps is a Commodity code with little recent relevant activity in state and local procurement. The two most recent opportunities posted under this code show a marked mismatch with the code's nominal scope. Orange County, Florida posted an IFB (Y26742) in June 2026 for emergency replacement of two bridges with an estimated project cost of $6,202,246.05 and a response deadline of July 7, 2026 — a civil infrastructure project entirely unrelated to laboratory pipette equipment. The State of California posted an RFB (RFBIS26200929) on May 5, 2026 with a May 22, 2026 deadline for Rainin pipettes and spacers intended for the Louisiana Association of Chiefs; the full scope and specifications remain inaccessible in the compressed procurement packet, preventing detailed analysis of the actual goods or services being solicited.

The code shows activity across Florida and California, but with no clear pattern of repeat buyers or sustained procurement demand. Without additional solicitations that align with the code's intended commodity scope, state and local procurement professionals should treat this code as currently inactive for business development purposes. The bridge-replacement opportunity and the incomplete LAC pipette posting do not establish a reliable signal of market demand for pipette pumps at the state and local level.
