UNSPSC 41116301 Flash point testers is a Commodity code covering instrumentation used to measure the flash point of combustible liquids and materials, typically in laboratory and quality-control settings. State and local governments purchasing under this code are primarily transportation and infrastructure agencies conducting materials testing on fuels, lubricants, and other petroleum products. The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Materials and Tests Division represents the primary recent buyer, procuring specialized equipment for standardized flash-point measurement in support of highway materials and fuel compliance programs.

TxDOT posted a bid solicitation on May 21, 2026 (due May 14, 2026 — note the source shows an inverted timeline) for two Automated Cleveland Open Cup Flash Point Testers through the Euna Procurement platform, with inquiries directed to Enrique Moya at the agency. The solicitation references the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts Centralized Master Bidders List as the vendor roster. The source provides no award value, geographic spread beyond Texas, or additional recent opportunities under this code, indicating limited recent activity in state and local procurement under this Commodity category.
