UNSPSC 41113724: Telephone test set

Test equipment that determines the presence of malfunctioning by testing the transmission and receiving function, bell, call sensitivity and others of the telephone as the communication terminal.

UNSPSC 41113724 Telephone test set is a Commodity code with minimal recent state and local procurement activity. The eight recent opportunities posted under this code do not align with its nominal scope — they span airport vending machine concessions, water meter replacement, power transformers, reclaimed water metering, law enforcement equipment, battery backup systems, school district instructional resources, and university testing equipment, none of which represent telephone test sets or related telecommunications diagnostic hardware. State and local governments do not appear to be actively soliciting telephone test sets under this code at present.

No representative recent opportunities for telephone test sets are evident in the source material. The mismatch between the code's intended product classification and the actual work being tagged suggests either catalog or taxonomy drift in how issuing bodies are classifying procurement actions, or that telephone test set procurement is inactive across the state and local market. Buyers and vendors evaluating this code should verify current demand directly with target jurisdictions rather than relying on posted opportunity volume as an activity signal.
