UNSPSC 41104022: Sample shaper

A type of device that is designed to manufacture the samples by to fit into the specification when the physical features in object, material or others are measured.

UNSPSC 41104022 Sample shaper, a Commodity code, shows no recent state and local procurement activity aligned with its nominal scope. The four most recent opportunities tagged under this code involve DNA buccal collection kits for forensic databases, bridge replacements, a lab information management system, and an X-ray diffraction instrument—none of which constitute sample shapers or related laboratory sample preparation equipment. The mismatch between the code's intended taxonomy and the actual work solicited suggests either systematic miscoding by issuing bodies or a code designation that does not align with current state and local purchasing patterns.

No representative opportunities under this code warrant pursuit at this time. Business development professionals should verify whether their product or service maps to a different UNSPSC code or confirm directly with state and local procurement offices whether sample shaper activity occurs under alternate code assignments in their jurisdictions. The absence of relevant recent solicitations reflects either minimal demand for this equipment category within state and local government or consistent miscategorization in procurement systems.
