UNSPSC 41103318: Nuclear densitometer

UNSPSC 41103318 Nuclear densitometer, a Commodity code, shows minimal recent state and local procurement activity aligned with its nominal scope. The three most recent posted opportunities from the District of Columbia Department of Forensic Sciences and Department of Finance and Services reference consumable supplies, Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) consumables and reagents, and NGS supplies—none of which describe nuclear densitometer procurement or related density-measurement equipment. The postings lack substantive scope documentation; available metadata names only the solicitation numbers, posting dates, and response deadlines without detailing the actual goods being purchased, contract values, evaluation criteria, or procurement vehicle type (RFP, RFQ, IFB, ITB).

The code appears to see little or no active state and local procurement interest in nuclear densitometers proper. The District of Columbia represents the only jurisdiction with recent postings tagged to this code, and those opportunities center on laboratory consumables and reagents rather than densitometry instrumentation. Without access to the full solicitation documents, the alignment between the code assignment and the work actually being solicited cannot be confirmed. Firms tracking this code should consider it dormant for state and local opportunity pursuit unless and until opportunities more clearly aligned with nuclear densitometer equipment procurement or calibration services begin to post.
