UNSPSC 41102401: Gas burners

UNSPSC 41102401 Gas burners is a Commodity code encompassing equipment used in laboratory, scientific, and heating applications. State and local governments and their cooperative purchasing entities procure gas burners as components within broader laboratory infrastructure packages, scientific equipment suites, and facility heating systems. The issuing bodies soliciting under this code include state agencies, counties, municipalities, and service cooperatives operating on behalf of multiple member public entities. Sourcewell, a Minnesota local government unit and service cooperative, actively manages multi-jurisdictional procurement vehicles for laboratory and science equipment that incorporate gas burners and related technologies.

Sourcewell's RFP 26RFP111026, posted September 21, 2026 with proposals due November 10, 2026 at 3:30 p.m. Central Time, solicits laboratory and science equipment, supplies, and related technology and services for use by Sourcewell's Participating Entities across multiple states. This cooperative procurement vehicle makes available contracting solutions to member public agencies, broadening the geographic reach beyond Minnesota. Proposals must be submitted exclusively through the Sourcewell Procurement Portal; late submissions are ineligible. The scope encompasses gas burners as part of a larger equipment and services offering that allows participating entities to leverage cooperative pricing and standardized terms.
