UNSPSC 41101703: Tissue grinders

UNSPSC 41101703 Tissue grinders (Commodity) covers laboratory grinding and milling equipment used by state and local research institutions, educational facilities, and government laboratories to process biological, chemical, or material samples. The code captures specialized equipment for tissue preparation, sample homogenization, and material reduction in controlled laboratory environments.

Texas A&M University Division of Finance Procurement Services posted an ITB (TAMUITB275119) on September 29, 2026 for a laboratory cold-rolling mill, with responses due October 13, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. CST. Vendors must be registered on the State of Texas Centralized Master Bidders List or have expressed prior interest in TAMU bid opportunities, and must submit bids electronically through the AggieBid platform at https://bids.sciquest.com/apps/Router/PublicEvent?CustomerOrg=TAMU. All technical specifications, pricing, contract terms, and evaluation criteria are available on AggieBid; vendors are responsible for monitoring the platform for addenda. The available recent-opportunities block reports only this single solicitation under the code, limiting visibility into the broader issuing-body mix or geographic concentration of activity. Texas A&M represents an anchor buyer in higher-education research procurement, but the code shows minimal recent state and local activity in the source data.
