UNSPSC 40141901: Flexible ducts

UNSPSC 40141901 Flexible ducts is a Commodity code that represents a narrow product category with minimal recent state and local procurement activity under this specific code. The source contains three recent postings tagged to this code, but none reflects actual procurement of flexible ducts or related HVAC components. The first is a notice of office relocation for Williamson County Purchasing Department in Texas with no procurement scope. The second is a Texas contract posting (IW254390) that lacks sufficient documentation to identify what is actually being solicited. The third is a Sourcewell cooperative RFP (061626) for law enforcement equipment—plainly unrelated to flexible ducts—issued on behalf of multiple Washington counties and participating entities nationwide with a June 16, 2026 response date.

The code shows little relevant recent activity. No state or local jurisdiction in the source material is soliciting flexible ducts, flexible duct systems, or HVAC distribution components under this code. The mismatch between the code's nominal scope and the procurement notices tagged to it suggests either miscategorization by issuing bodies or that this commodity code sees insufficient state and local volume to generate a reliable signal for business development. Monitor the code for future activity but do not pursue based on current sourcing signals.
