UNSPSC 39121722: Wire and cable pulling device

UNSPSC 39121722 Wire and cable pulling device (Commodity) shows no relevant recent activity among state and local buyers. The sixteen opportunities posted between February and July 2026 span janitorial services, electrical equipment and supplies, document destruction, title search services, theater lighting renovations, asphalt delivery, pole-mounted tools, video surveillance maintenance, water filtration equipment, lifting hooks, and cabling services—none of which align with the procurement of wire and cable pulling devices as a distinct commodity.

The disconnect between the code's nominal scope and the actual opportunities suggests either a cataloging mismatch in how state and local procurement offices are tagging their buys or minimal demand for wire and cable pullers as a standalone line item under this code in the current market. Equipment such as cable pulling tools, conduit pullers, and similar mechanical devices may be purchased as components within larger electrical or telecommunications installations (as suggested by the cabling services solicitation from Texas DIR), but they are not appearing as independent procurements. This code warrants close monitoring for shifting activity patterns, but no pursue signal is present in the recent record.
