UNSPSC 32101616: Bipolar complementary metal oxide semiconductor technology BICMOS

UNSPSC 32101616 Bipolar complementary metal oxide semiconductor technology BICMOS is a Commodity code that shows no recent state and local procurement activity aligned with its technical scope. The single recent opportunity tagged under this code—Sourcewell RFP #061626, posted May 12, 2026, with a response deadline of June 16, 2026—solicits Law Enforcement Equipment for a multi-jurisdictional cooperative purchasing vehicle, a scope plainly unrelated to semiconductor technology or BICMOS components. The mismatch suggests the code was applied in error or as a placeholder within Sourcewell's taxonomy during posting.

The Sourcewell cooperative, a Minnesota local government unit operating under Washington state law (RCW 39.34), is administering the procurement on behalf of participating counties including Franklin, Grant, Grays Harbor, Chelan, and Yakima, with the resulting contract available to thousands of governmental agencies, higher education institutions, K–12 school districts, nonprofit organizations, tribal governments, and public entities throughout the United States and Canada. Submission is required through the Sourcewell Procurement Portal by June 16, 2026 at 3:30 p.m. Central Time. No recent solicitations for actual BICMOS components, integrated circuits, or related semiconductor products appear in state and local procurement channels under this code.
