UNSPSC 32101526: Wave tube amplifiers

UNSPSC 32101526 Wave tube amplifiers is a Commodity code with little relevant recent state and local procurement activity. The recent opportunities tagged under this code span asphalt patching materials, elevator and escalator maintenance, water treatment facility solenoids, ballasts and capacitors, electrical components, law enforcement equipment, generator and switchgear upgrades, heavy-duty bus parts, utility transformers, and protective electrical devices — none of which are wave tube amplifiers or closely related RF or microwave transmission equipment. The code appears to be a mismatch for the actual procurements being solicited.

The few opportunities nominally posted under this code do not establish meaningful geographic concentration, issuing-body patterns, or market activity specific to wave tube amplifiers. Jurisdictions appearing in the records include the City of Arlington, Texas; the City of Tampa, Florida; Gwinnett County, Georgia; Hillsborough County, Florida; Sourcewell (Minnesota-based cooperative spanning multiple states); Orange County, Florida; the City of Gainesville, Florida; San Mateo County, California; and the City of Austin, Texas — but none of these solicitations target microwave or RF transmission components. Without evidence of actual wave tube amplifier procurement, pursuit under this code is not advisable at this time.
