UNSPSC 31381249: Sinteredisotropic samarium cobalt magnet assembly

Isotropic samarium magnet assembly that has been sintered

UNSPSC 31381249 Sintered isotropic samarium cobalt magnet assembly is a Commodity code with negligible recent state and local procurement activity. The single recent opportunity in the dataset—the City of Midland, Texas, acting on behalf of Mason County, issuing an IFB on March 26, 2026, for 71 fire hydrants under the U25-01 Fire Hydrant Replacement Project (due April 9, 2026)—does not reflect actual procurement of magnet assemblies. Fire hydrants are not magnet assemblies, and the disconnect between the code's nominal scope and this solicitation indicates that the code carries little relevant activity in state and local markets at present.

The mismatch between the code label and the posted opportunity suggests either miscoding in the source data or extremely limited deployment of sintered isotropic samarium cobalt magnet assemblies in state and local procurement streams. No additional recent opportunities appear in the dataset to establish either geographic concentration or a pattern of issuing-body repeat buying. Without corroborating solicitations aligned to the magnet assembly scope, this code does not present a reliable basis for business development targeting in the state and local channel today.
