UNSPSC 31361711: Waspalloy riveted plate assemblies

UNSPSC 31361711 Waspalloy riveted plate assemblies, a Commodity code, shows little relevant recent activity in state and local procurement. The code nominally describes specialized aerospace-grade metal assemblies, but the recent opportunities tagged under it include mobile welding and fabrication services for heavy equipment repair, coiled aluminum for correctional-industry license plate production, and pallet rack wire decking for courthouse storage—none of which align with the acquisition of riveted plate assemblies. State and local procurement offices appear to have applied this code inconsistently or as a catch-all for metal-fabrication-adjacent work rather than for the specific commodity the code names.

The four recent opportunities originate from Colorado (Department of Corrections, three separate aluminum-coil solicitations from May through August 2026), Florida (Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners, mobile welding ITB due September 16, 2026, estimated at $207,429.10 over three years), and California (Los Angeles Superior Court, pallet rack decking RFQ due May 7, 2026). None of these solicitations involve waspalloy or riveted plate assemblies. If your firm pursues work under this code, treat it as a signal to verify the actual commodity in scope before bid preparation—the code taxonomy and recent buyer activity do not currently align.
