UNSPSC 31361412: Copper welded or brazed plate assemblies

UNSPSC 31361412 Copper welded or brazed plate assemblies is a Commodity code, but the recent state and local activity under this code shows a significant mismatch: Pasco County, Florida posted a solicitation for copper sulfate chemicals (crystals and liquid) rather than welded or brazed plate assemblies. The county is seeking an indefinite-quantity as-needed supply arrangement with one or more vendors for these chemical products, which fall outside the nominal scope of fabricated copper plate components. The solicitation does not indicate set-asides, preferences, estimated contract value, or contract term details.

The limited recent activity under this code provides little signal for the broader market. Pasco County's single RFQ (RFQFP261004, response due June 26, 2026) represents the available procurement record. The mismatch between the code's stated scope and the actual chemical supply need suggests either a coding error in the county's taxonomy assignment or that this Commodity code captures a narrower end-use than current procurement activity reflects. Business development professionals should verify with Pasco County whether the copper sulfate procurement remains current and assess whether their product or service offering aligns with the stated chemical supply requirement rather than the code's welded or brazed assembly definition.
