UNSPSC 31361313: Brass solvent welded plate assemblies

UNSPSC 31361313 Brass solvent welded plate assemblies is a Commodity code covering brass water system components, specifically service line fittings, accessories, and tapping saddles that municipalities procure for water infrastructure maintenance and warehouse stock replenishment. State and local water utilities and public works departments solicit under this code to maintain supply inventories of replacement brass fittings and related components for routine repair and maintenance of water distribution systems. The work involves providing standard brass plumbing components rather than fabrication or engineering services; vendors typically supply off-the-shelf or catalog items in response to annual requirements contracts.

The City of Arlington, Texas posted an annual requirements contract for brass water repair parts (Solicitation 270041) with a response deadline of October 22, 2026, seeking brass service line fittings, accessories, and tapping saddles. The solicitation was issued as an IFB with electronic submission strongly encouraged. Arlington notes exclusive use of the Euna Procurement platform for all solicitation distribution and requires bidders to monitor that channel to receive complete specifications and any addenda; bids submitted outside that system risk non-compliance. The source provides no additional recent opportunities under this code, indicating limited current state and local procurement activity in this commodity category.
