UNSPSC 31361204: Inconel bolted plate assemblies

UNSPSC 31361204 Inconel bolted plate assemblies, a Commodity code, shows minimal recent state and local solicitation activity aligned with its nominal scope. The four recent opportunities posted under this code between April and August 2026 involve mobile welding services, coiled aluminum for license plate production, and pallet rack wire decking—none of which represent the specialized fastener assemblies the code nominally describes. The mismatch suggests either miscoding in the posting agencies' systems or a code rarely used in state and local procurement for its intended product line. When opportunities do appear under this code, they span fabrication and materials supply across county departments of solid waste management, state correctional industries, and judicial administrative procurement.

The geographic concentration centers on Colorado, where the Colorado Department of Corrections' Colorado Correctional Industries division posted three separate solicitations for coiled aluminum (IFB 2026-0179 posted May 5 and May 19, 2026; IFB DQ1CFAA20270000691 posted August 17, 2026) to supply the CCi Tag Plant in Canon City—indicating repeat demand for materials supporting license plate manufacturing operations. Outside Colorado, activity includes Hillsborough County, Florida, issuing ITB 26-00389 for mobile welding services (due September 16, 2026, $207,429.10 estimated value) at its Solid Waste Management Department, and the Los Angeles Superior Court posting RFQ 202635171135 for pallet rack wire decking (due May 7, 2026). The code demonstrates light, geographically dispersed activity with no clear pattern of recurring buyers or standardized scope across jurisdictions.
