UNSPSC 31341513: Brass solvent welded sheet assemblies

UNSPSC 31341513 Brass solvent welded sheet assemblies, a Commodity code, addresses fabricated brass components joined through solvent welding — a specialized joining method used in plumbing, HVAC, and industrial piping applications where thermal stress or corrosion resistance demands alternatives to traditional brazing or mechanical fastening. State and local governments procure these assemblies primarily through water and wastewater utilities, public works departments managing municipal infrastructure, and facilities management divisions responsible for mechanical systems in government buildings and institutions.

The source provides no recent state and local contract opportunities tagged to this code. Activity under UNSPSC 31341513 appears minimal in current public procurement records, suggesting either low volume demand across state and local jurisdictions, classification under related plumbing or HVAC component codes, or limited transparency in how purchasing offices tag fabricated metalwork. Firms pursuing this code should verify whether procurement officers in their target jurisdictions use this specific code for brass solvent welded assemblies or route such buys through parent codes covering general plumbing supplies, mechanical piping systems, or brass sheet stock.
