UNSPSC 31341113: Brass welded or brazed sheet assemblies

UNSPSC 31341113 Brass welded or brazed sheet assemblies (Commodity) encompasses brass water infrastructure components that state and local water utilities procure for repair and maintenance of municipal water systems. The code captures brass service line fittings, accessories, and tapping saddles used to replenish water warehouse stock and support ongoing distribution-system repairs. State and local water departments and municipal utilities are the primary issuing bodies under this code, typically establishing annual requirements contracts to ensure steady supply of replacement parts for aging water infrastructure.

The City of Arlington, Texas recently solicited bids for an annual requirements contract (Solicitation 270041) for brass water repair parts, with responses due October 22, 2026. This represents the primary recent activity visible under the code; the solicitation calls for brass service line fittings, accessories, and tapping saddles supplied to the city's water warehouse on a requirements basis. Bidders must submit proposals electronically through Euna Procurement or in sealed paper envelopes labeled with company name, solicitation number, and title, with late submissions rejected. The city emphasizes exclusive use of Euna Procurement for all solicitation notices and addenda distribution, requiring vendors to monitor that channel to avoid receiving incomplete specifications that could render bids non-compliant.
