UNSPSC 31301307: Magnesium impression die machined forgings

UNSPSC 31301307 Magnesium impression die machined forgings is a Commodity code covering precision magnesium forgings produced by impression die techniques and subsequently machined to specification—a specialized metalworking product with limited application in state and local procurement. State and local agencies do not routinely solicit magnesium forgings directly; the code primarily reflects industrial manufacturing inputs that flow into equipment, machinery, or defense-contracting supply chains rather than direct government procurement of the forgings themselves. When state or local bodies do engage with this material class, it is typically as a subordinate line item within larger equipment procurements, vehicle assembly, or aerospace-related manufacturing support rather than as a standalone acquisition. The issuing bodies tend to be state departments of transportation, state departments of general services managing industrial contracts, or specialized procurement offices supporting local manufacturing or defense-related industries.

The source provides no recent state and local contract opportunities tagged to this code, indicating minimal direct solicitation activity at the state and local level for magnesium impression die machined forgings as a primary procurement category.
