UNSPSC 31282111: Nickel alloy spin formed components

UNSPSC 31282111 Nickel alloy spin formed components is a Commodity code covering specialized metal fabrication products, though the recent solicitation activity shows state and local buyers under this code are also purchasing stainless steel diaphragm plates and similar precision metal components. The code captures engineered metal parts requiring specialized forming, shaping, or fabrication processes for industrial, mechanical, or equipment applications. Issuing bodies soliciting under this code span higher education systems and their procurement offices, which use both competitive bidding processes and electronic procurement portals to source these components.

Texas A&M University System posted an ITB for stainless steel diaphragm plates (TAMUSITB270547) with a response deadline of October 28, 2026, requiring all vendor registration and bid submission through the AggieBid procurement portal. The university directed bidder questions to Sterling Crowdus at soprocurement@tamus.edu or through AggieBid's Q&A function, with technical vendor support through vendorhelp@tamu.edu. The source does not identify additional recent opportunities under this code, quantities, pricing, contract terms, or set-asides, making Texas the only state with confirmed current solicitation activity visible in the recent opportunities record.
