UNSPSC 31281804: Non ferrous alloy punched components

UNSPSC 31281804 Non ferrous alloy punched components is a Commodity code covering fabricated metal components manufactured from non-ferrous alloys, including stainless steel punched and stamped parts used across state and local infrastructure and institutional operations. State and local procurement under this code spans university systems, county maintenance operations, and municipal public works departments that source replacement or component parts for equipment, machinery, and facility systems. The work involves fabrication of precision-punched or stamped metal components to specification, typically in small to moderate production runs.

The Texas A&M University System issued ITB TAMUS-ITB-26-0547 on October 12, 2026, requesting bids on stainless steel diaphragm plates with a response deadline of October 28, 2026; bidding occurs exclusively through the AggieBid procurement portal, with technical questions directed to Sterling Crowdus at soprocurement@tamus.edu. Recent activity in this Commodity code remains limited based on available records; the single posted opportunity reflects university-system procurement but does not establish a broad pattern across states or issuing-body types. Geographic concentration and issuing-body mix cannot be characterized from current sourcing data.
