UNSPSC 31281532: Carbon steel SAE series 1000 cold rolled stamped component

Component stamped from cold rolled SAE series 1000 carbon steel

UNSPSC 31281532 Carbon steel SAE series 1000 cold rolled stamped component (Commodity) represents metal stampings and fabricated components purchased by state and local entities, though recent solicitation activity under this code shows stainless steel diaphragm plates rather than carbon steel components — indicating that issuing bodies may tag structurally similar metal fabrication work under this code regardless of material specification. State and local procurement under the code spans higher-education institutions and other public bodies purchasing manufactured metal parts for equipment, machinery, or system integration. The Texas A&M University System represents the primary visible buyer in recent activity.

Texas leads the recent geographic activity under the code. The Texas A&M University System posted an ITB (TAMUS-ITB-26-0547) on October 12, 2026, for stainless steel diaphragm plates with a response deadline of October 28, 2026. Bidding occurs exclusively through the AggieBid procurement portal; prospective vendors must register electronically and submit bids through that system.
