UNSPSC 31211703: Lacquers

UNSPSC 31211703 Lacquers is a Commodity code covering clear and pigmented lacquer finishes that state and local governments procure for maintenance, repair, and protective coating applications across facilities, vehicles, equipment, and infrastructure. The code encompasses both water-based and solvent-based lacquers used in painting, refinishing, and preservation work by public works departments, facility maintenance divisions, transportation agencies, and school district maintenance programs. State and local buyers source lacquers as consumable materials for in-house application or as components in contracted painting and coating services, particularly where durability, gloss, and weather resistance are required for outdoor or high-traffic surfaces.

The source provided contains no recent state and local contract opportunities tagged to UNSPSC 31211703 Lacquers. Without posted solicitations, issuing-body mix, geographic concentration, and representative opportunities cannot be determined from the available data. Firms pursuing this code should monitor state and local procurement portals directly and maintain relationships with maintenance and public works procurement contacts at target agencies, as lacquer purchases often occur through standing maintenance contracts, cooperative purchasing agreements, or routine supply orders that may not generate visible public notice.
