UNSPSC 31171562: Insert bearing with set screw locking

A bearing for unit that has the two fixed screws (grubs or set screws) on the inner collar. This device is appropriate to the device with the changing rotation direction. The inner collar is expanded on both sides and the standard product has two lubricant injection holes on the outer collar.

UNSPSC 31171562 Insert bearing with set screw locking, a Commodity code, designates a specific mechanical fastening component used in rotating machinery and equipment assemblies where set screw retention is required. State and local governments procure these bearings primarily through facilities maintenance, fleet maintenance, and equipment repair operations at municipal public works departments, county maintenance shops, and transit authorities that operate heavy equipment or rotating machinery. The bearings are typically purchased as replacement parts or components within larger equipment orders rather than as standalone commodity procurements.

The source contains no substantive recent opportunities under this code. The single entry is a July 2026 notice from Williamson County Purchasing Department announcing a relocation and does not constitute a procurement solicitation, offering no scope, deliverables, contract value, timeline, or evaluation criteria. No recent RFP, RFQ, IFB, or ITB activity is evident for insert bearings with set screw locking in the available state and local procurement record.
