UNSPSC 31171526: Bearing pads

UNSPSC 31171526 Bearing pads is a Commodity code that represents structural support components used in facility maintenance and construction, though recent state and local solicitations show limited direct activity under this specific code. State and local governments procure bearing pads as part of broader facility repair and maintenance operations, typically sourced alongside other building materials, mechanical components, and infrastructure supplies. The issuing bodies soliciting under or adjacent to this code span county governments and their facilities-management departments, which source these items as consumables and replacement parts for ongoing maintenance of public buildings, roads, bridges, and infrastructure systems.

The geographic spread and recent opportunities are sparse. San Bernardino County Project & Facilities Management issued Formal Invitation to Bid 6391 on May 18, 2026 (due June 19, 2026) for parts and supplies supporting facility maintenance across over 500 line items, including building materials that may encompass bearing pads, with a local vendor preference of 5 percent for vendors within San Bernardino County boundaries. No other recent state and local solicitations directly named bearing pads as a primary procurement line item in the source material; activity under this code appears minimal in the recent opportunities block, suggesting that bearing pads are typically purchased as secondary items within broader facility-maintenance or infrastructure-repair RFQs rather than as standalone procurements. California shows the only identified recent relevant activity.
