UNSPSC 31161527: Hammerhead or T screw

A fastener with a T-shaped square neck.

UNSPSC 31161527 Hammerhead or T screw, a Commodity code, shows minimal relevant recent state and local procurement activity. The single recent solicitation posted under this code—Harris County Department of Education (HCDE) and Choice Partners' May 2026 Painting, Drywall, Acoustical Ceilings, and Flooring (JOC-IDIQ) competitive sealed proposal—does not align with fastener procurement. The solicitation targets general construction and facility services delivered through a job-order contracting vehicle using established unit price books and coefficient multipliers, with no specification of hammerhead or T screws as line items or scope elements. The code appears misapplied to this opportunity, and the source provides no other recent state and local solicitations for fastening hardware under this taxonomy code.

Without additional opportunities in the source to establish issuing-body or geographic patterns, no meaningful procurement picture emerges for this Commodity code at the state and local level. The single posting on record reflects a services-focused cooperative purchasing initiative in Texas, not procurement of fastening products. Business development professionals should treat this code as dormant in current state and local markets and validate actual buying patterns and sourcing codes through direct agency engagement or secondary market intelligence before committing pursuit resources.
