Forging made of steel that is forged at a hot temperature and has been heat treated and cold sized

UNSPSC 31132112 Hot forged heat treated and cold sized steel forging is a Commodity code covering finished steel forgings that have undergone hot forging, heat treatment, and cold sizing operations — precision components used in machinery, heavy equipment, and structural applications where dimensional accuracy and material properties are critical after final processing. State and local governments procure these forgings primarily through manufacturing and equipment suppliers for vehicle and equipment maintenance, public works infrastructure projects, and fleet operations. The issuing bodies span state transportation and public works departments, counties, municipalities, and special districts that maintain heavy equipment and capital infrastructure requiring replacement or repair parts manufactured to exacting specifications.

The source provides no recent state or local contract opportunities tagged to this code, making current market activity and geographic concentration unclear.
