UNSPSC 31121911: Brass graphite mold machined castings

UNSPSC 31121911 Brass graphite mold machined castings is a Commodity code covering cast bronze and aluminum plaques, signage components, and brass water system repair parts that state and local governments procure for facility displays, commemorative installations, and utility infrastructure maintenance. The work involves design, fabrication, and installation of cast metal pieces to specification, including decorative seals with 3D details, lettered signage panels, and functional brass fittings for water distribution systems. Issuing bodies include state departments and municipal utilities; the Texas Department of Public Safety and the City of Arlington appear as recent active buyers.

Recent opportunities span Texas, with the Texas Department of Public Safety issuing an Invitation for Bid (40526R0025759) for the Legacy Hall Courtyard Display due October 12, 2026, requesting three cast plaques—a 65-inch bronze seal with prismatic star detail and oxide finish, cast aluminum lettering panels spelling out organizational values, and cast aluminum star components, all specified as "or equal" alternatives and encouraging use of recycled materials. The City of Arlington issued a requirements contract solicitation (270041) due October 22, 2026, for brass water repair parts including service line fittings, accessories, and tapping saddles for warehouse stock replenishment. Both solicitations were posted in late September 2026 and specify sealed or electronic bid submission through designated channels.
