UNSPSC 31121801: Non ferrous alloy ceramic mold machined castings

UNSPSC 31121801 Non ferrous alloy ceramic mold machined castings, a Commodity code, encompasses cast utility components including manhole castings and accessories that state and local governments procure for water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure. The work involves supplying finished metal castings to specification, typically as ongoing multiyear supply contracts rather than one-off project work. Issuing bodies under this code span county-level infrastructure departments and utilities that manage underground utility networks and require steady-state replenishment of standard castings to maintain or expand service lines.

DeKalb County, Georgia posted a representative opportunity in April 2026 soliciting manhole castings and accessories through a three-year multiyear contract with a response deadline of April 30, 2026. The source provides limited geographic breadth — only one recent opportunity appears in the data — and does not reveal activity across other states or jurisdictions. Interested vendors should consult the DeKalb County procurement portal for technical specifications, set-aside designations, DBE requirements, and award values, which are not disclosed in the public notice summary.
