UNSPSC 31121315: Lead permanent mold machined castings

UNSPSC 31121315 Lead permanent mold machined castings is a Commodity code that covers permanent mold casting products, including manhole castings and utility access components that state and local governments source for infrastructure maintenance and utility operations. This code captures manufactured metal castings produced through permanent mold processes, typically used in wastewater, stormwater, and municipal utility systems where durability and dimensional consistency are required.

Issuing bodies under this code include counties and municipalities managing utility infrastructure. DeKalb County, Georgia solicited a three-year multiyear contract for manhole castings and accessories through an IFB posted April 1, 2026, with a response deadline of April 30, 2026. The procurement was administered through DeKalb County's OpenGov procurement portal, with detailed specifications, set-aside designations, DBE requirements, and award values available through the county's solicitation documents. The multiyear structure reflects typical state and local procurement practice for repetitive utility component sourcing, locking in supply stability across budget cycles while ensuring vendors maintain consistent production quality for critical infrastructure applications. The source shows activity centered in Georgia as of mid-2026, though the geographic spread across additional jurisdictions is not specified in the available opportunity records.
