UNSPSC 31111609: Non ferrous alloy impact extrusions

UNSPSC 31111609 Non ferrous alloy impact extrusions is a Commodity code under which state and local governments procure aluminum and other non-ferrous metal components manufactured through impact extrusion processes, typically for use in vehicle assembly, infrastructure components, and equipment manufacturing. The code covers finished or semi-finished extruded parts made from aluminum alloys, magnesium, copper alloys, and similar non-ferrous materials, shaped through high-velocity impact and extrusion rather than conventional extrusion or machining. State and local procurement activity under this code spans multiple issuing-body types, including state departments of transportation, county maintenance and facilities offices, municipalities, and public utilities seeking these components as inputs to vehicle fleets, infrastructure projects, or capital equipment.

The source provides no recent state or local contract opportunities tagged to UNSPSC 31111609. Without posted solicitations, bid activity, or awarded contracts in the underlying dataset, the market visibility and current procurement momentum for this code cannot be assessed. Firms evaluating pursuit should monitor state transportation procurement channels and municipal equipment solicitations where impact-extruded non-ferrous components are commonly specified as line items within larger vehicle or infrastructure buys, though this code shows no standalone activity at present.
